Boulder police responding to report of active shooter at Boulder High School
The Boulder Police Department is responding to a report of an active shooter at Boulder High School.
The University of Colorado Boulder police said police are investigating a “report of person with a gun” near the school at 1604 Arapahoe Ave.
The police department said on Twitter the report has not yet been confirmed, and a shelter-in-place order has been sent.
The shelter-in-place area is between Boulder Canyon Drive to the north, Broadway to the west, University Avenue to the south and Folsom Street to the East.
Boulder Valley School District officials said on Twitter Boulder High School is on lockdown. They advised anyone not at the school to not approach the building and wait for more information.

Boulder High School is currently on LOCKDOWN (Lock, Lights, Out of Sight). BVSD will provide more information as soon as possible.
If you are not at the school – DO NOT APPROACH THE BUILDING. Stay away from the area and await further information.
