According to the State Traffic Inspectorate of Yakutia, 653 traffic violations were recorded in the region over the past day. It is noted that more than 250 are in Yakutsk.

It is noteworthy that drivers continue to drive drunk, despite the criminal punishment. So, on February 23, 16 drivers were caught drunk driving.

In addition, 27 motorists drove vehicles without a driver's license, and six were deprived of them altogether.

The state traffic inspectorate reminded that until the next working week, employees will carry out enhanced service on the roads of Yakutia. DPS squads will be increased, and patrolling will be carried out at exits and entrances.
