76ers Make A Roster Move Ahead Of Wednesday's Game
Ahead of Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks, the Philadelphia 76ers made a roster adjustment.
It is not uncommon for young talents to split time between the NBA and NBA G League, especially if their team is in a contending position.
This has been the case with Jaden Springer from the Philadelphia 76ers, as the 2021 first-round pick has spent quite a bit of time in the G League with the Delaware Blue Coats this season while also learning when he has been in the NBA with the Sixers.
On Wednesday, ahead of their game against the Dallas Mavericks, the 76ers made a quick roster move involving Springer, as they assigned the young guard to the Blue Coats in order to practice. However, Springer was called back up after this practice and is with the team for their game against Dallas, according to Keith Pompey from The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Springer, 20, was originally drafted 28th overall by Philadelphia in 2021 but he has barely played at the NBA level. Featured in just 16 games, 14 of which have been this season, Springer has scored just 25 total points on 10-23 shooting in 59 career minutes.
In the G League however, Jaden Springer has really made a name for himself.
In 24 games with the Delaware Blue Coats, the affiliates of the Philadelphia 76ers, Springer has played in 24 games while averaging 19.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game.
He was recently named the 2022-23 G League Regular Season Steals champion and the 76ers are very high on the young guard's potential on that end of the floor.
Heading into Year 3 this upcoming offseason, Philadelphia has high hopes that Jaden Springer will join their rotation on the bench next season and begin making an impact on the defensive-end of the floor.
