Former darling star of the early 2000s, Amanda Bynes, has reportedly been institutionalized after being found alone on the street and completely naked, TMZ reported on Monday.

According to a reliable source from the American media, the one who starred in She's The Man was seen by several people walking alone in downtown Los Angeles, without any clothes. According to this same source, Bynes would have stopped a car by telling the driver that she had just come out of a “psychotic episode”.

Moments later, she reportedly called 911 herself.

A law enforcement source told TMZ that the 36-year-old star was taken to a police station where a mental health medical team determined the actress needed psychiatric detention.

Although the situation could have been disastrous, still according to what TMZ reports, Amanda was not injured during this crisis.
