A warning strike is to paralyze traffic nationwide on Monday, March 27th. The strike will also have an impact in Fulda - although individual transport companies will not be struck directly.

Fulda – A nationwide standstill in the transport sector is expected for Monday: the Verdi services union and the railway and transport union (EVG) are calling on their members to go on warning strikes. Overall, the strike call affects more than 300,000 employees. The industrial action is scheduled to begin on Monday night and last 24 hours.

Strike on Monday: trains and planes stand still in Hesse

Deutsche Bahn will completely stop its long-distance traffic on Monday, there could be delays as early as Sunday evening. For the most part, there will also be no trains running in regional traffic at DB Regio. Numerous trains could still be canceled on Tuesday due to the aftermath.

There is also a strike in local public transport in Hesse and at Frankfurt Airport. Regular air traffic will therefore be discontinued on Monday.
