National Basketball Association (NBA) star Giannis Antetokounmpo has signed a personal endorsement deal to become the first global ambassador for gambling brand Betano.

Context:
Antetokounmpo’s partnership portfolio also includes deals with US sportswear giant Nike, social media platform WhatsApp, Swiss watch brand Tissot, JBL headphones and tech giant Google. Betano is a partner of Portuguese soccer clubs Benfica, Sporting Lisbon and Porto, while it also signed up as the first gambling sponsor for the Qatar 2022 Fifa World Cup.
