Did you vote for Royston, Phoebe or Josh? Find out who has been crowned this year’s Australian Idol.
Before the winner was revealed, each contestant spoke about what it would mean for them to win.
“I have dreamed of this for my whole entire, small life,” Phoebe said.
“It means a lot to me and to be a good role model for people who have a dream and just want to pursue it - it means a lot to me.
“I know I am young, but it is what I want to do and hopefully I can do it for the rest of my life.”
Royston said he had worked hard to get where he was and wanted to show his fans that “it doesn’t matter where you come, from as long as you work hard you can follow your dreams.”
Josh said having the opportunity to perform on TV each week had been an “absolute dream come true”.
“I can’t wait to hopefully release some original music after this and just tour and perform for you guys,” he said.

Then the top two were revealed - Phoebe Stewart and Royston Sagigi Baira - meaning Australia had to say goodbye to Josh Hannan.
“I’m just so grateful for everything, and proud to be getting up here every single week,” Josh said.
“Thank you to everyone else who voted for me, thank you very much - this is not the end for me.”
