My mother's journey has been rough
But she never let it make her tough
She lost everything, but kept her smile
For her children, it was all worthwhile

She faced many struggles along the way
Yet her faith never went astray
She always put her family first
Even when things were at their worst

With courage and love, she pressed on
Her light, even in darkness, shone
She never let the pain define her
Instead, she let her strength remind her

Through every trial and tribulation
She remained a shining inspiration
A mother's love, forever enduring
In her, we found love reassuring

She may have lost everything, it's true
But she gained something bigger too
A heart full of love and hope
That's what she's given to us to cope.
